Preparing for Your Trip
• What kind of shape do I have to be in?
San Miguel has many steep streets as well as many gradual to flat streets in the center. It generally takes even the young and fit person a couple of days to adjust to the high altitude. We recommend that you build a small siesta/ lie down into your after lunch schedule. It works like a miracle in helping you make the adjustment. There are many very aged and some totally handicapped living here happily. Help is reliable and easy to find. We can also provide a responsible, bilingual driver to be in front of your home, hotel, restaurant or to pick up your shopping as you may desire. Cobblestone streets require reasonable shoes.

• What if my travel companion is more/less ready to do things?
Some travelers like to stop at every gallery and shop along the way while some like to have a drink or coffee in every dreamy setting as they explore. Our passionate local guides are happy to adapt and keep track of all of you in your group…that’s what is nice about having your own guide. Your pace is their pace and take it only as far as you like.

• Health
When you send your deposit and this form for the booking of your activities you are guaranteeing that you do not have a physical condition that you know of that could put your travelling group and others around you at risk, and that you are up to date on required vaccinations. Please consult your doctor before you travel.

• Insurance
We ask that you be sure to have or purchase adequate out of country insurance for your personal health and belongings in case of any loss or illness. We are assuming that you are covered.
Your use of this form acknowledge that you, the traveler, are taking your trip at your own risk and are responsible for yourself and your fellow travelers. We, San Miguel Concierge, and the services we reserve for you do not assume responsibilty. We will, of course, do our utmost at all times to forewarn you of any risks, such as heat, altitude, potential exhaustion, or food contents that we are aware of while you are here .

Reservations, Prices & Payments

San Miguel Concierge requires a non-refundable deposit of only $100 US in order to begin designing your activities and looking for availabilities. If you have to cancel and there are at least two weeks before your trip your deposit may be used against your future visit. All restaurant recommendations and reservations, as well as accommodation advice and references/info is done free of charge as part of our full service.
